An American summer cocktail favourite. Add some cardamon for an elegant and intense twist.

What you need

Ingredients

Cocktails for:

1 person

50 ml
Martell Blue Swift
10 ml
Sugar syrup
10
Fresh mint leaves
1
Mint bouquet
Berries

Instructions

11. Press the mint leaves in a julep cup with a flat-end barspoon or a muddler.
22. Add Martell and sugar syrup and fill with crushed ice.
33. Stir well until the cup is well frosted.
44. Garnish with berries and a mint bouquet.

Serving tips

For an authentic touch, serve your Julep in a tall silver cup.
